new year, new…
Since I last updated, I got the Store back up and filled with some really awesome stuff. Before, I wasn’t able to find a vendor good enough to work with to make some truly quality products. Now, though, I have my collage designs on tees and mugs available for sale.
Thanksgiving Day Update
Since I have to post some kind of recent pics, enjoy some captioned randoms from the last couple of weeks…
I swear, i’ll be here more often
So right before finishing the Paul Reubens paintings, I was already on top of getting the next one set up and ready to go. I already knew I wanted to paint Joan Rivers. She was just too funny and too important to fade into the history books as a black and white photo and a caption, so I knew I wanted to celebrate her through visual art.
time for an update
Getting the Paul Reubens paintings finished was a pretty big accomplishment for me - simply because it’s an entirely new process to me. Even though I had never done it before, I knew I could get it done…I had to. The drive for it was based on vision. I kept seeing it in my mind and with each and every day that passed, it drove me more and more to make it a reality.
time is a luxury you don’t have.
You can have the greatest camera on the market, but if you’re pointing it at sheisse that has no interest to it, the best you’re going to get is high-megapixel shot of blah.
Muzak and old cameras
So my solution is muzak - soundtrack of the mall. A cousin of disco? Try it. You might just feel like a Stepford wife on a Saturday afternoon without the kids. Just delightful.
what’s new?
When it comes to new projects and ideas, I actually have a huge list of things that still have to be made. Photos, paintings, jackets and collages all have designs and details that have been planned for a while.
