september already?

I didn’t have the title planned or anything today. While struggling to come up with one, I looked at the date in the lower right section of my middle screen. 9/2/2023. September already? Yup. Fall is creeping around the corner. Usually by now, we would have had at least one morning where the air was crisp for the first time, signaling the last whimpers of summer. Today was almost 90. No crisp mornings yet. Cooler in the evenings, yes (and thankfully) but no crispies.

In art news, I got my Amazon order today. Industrial staple remover and canvas stretching tool.

Yay.

Today, I spent a shameful amount of time deathscrolling , took a nap and talked with my brother on FB Messenger video chat for over 3 hours. Kind of a hodge-podge of a weekend so far.

However, since I did sleep some today, it just means I’ll be up late on here, probably doing another write-up in the Gallery or something. I’ve been wanting to get the Portfolio page going next, so maybe I’ll do that.

I remind myself often to enjoy the now - the trip - rather than the destination.
